gosh, isn't bumblebee a little arsehole? sentinel should've just called him ' prick'

Full Metal Jacket is one of favourite movies of ever: i loved this episode. What else was good...yay proper voice actor for Shockwave, that was nice. And i enjoyed all the abuse of Bumblebee and Sentinel. Asteroid chin lol

Bits were really weird. It's odd to think of Bumblebee as being the ambitious, career soldier type: what we've seen of him so far is so at odds with the idea that he's like that. I think it's more that he's just a glory-hunter and thought the elite guard would offer him chances to win praise and respect

also: bumblebee and bulkhead's relationship. In soft focus, backlit: "i did dream big...". What was that? Why does Bulkhead even like the little turd? And you'd think that Bumblebee would resent Bulkhead more, since it was because of him that Bumbles ended up where he did (though it wasn't really, but i'd imagine bumbles would see it like that). At least it explained why he was on that ship doing that job- now, do we get to see who or what fragged-up Prowl's life that much?

The other two episodes that i've seen since were really great, i will probably screencap them like mad, too. Especially the one with the dinobots and Blackarachnia and Prometheus, that was RAAAAAAD! I loved the thing of BA toying with Optimus and poor Grimlock, what a minx.

This past week i've been watching an awesome cartoon i'd never heard of before called 'Storm Hawks'. It's not new- i think it's been done and cancelled already, like most things i discover two years after everyone else- but it's new to me and i love it. Even better than Ben10, though the theme song isn't.

If you haven't seen it, which you probably have, it's about these kids- mostly human- who ride around in a spaceship and fly these rad flying motorcycle things and have cool adventures, and it's really funny, and the action is brilliant. I don't usually like these sort of 3-D-looking animated shows, but i really like the way this show looks. The scenery and colours are nice and the characters are really attractively-drawn: they all have HUUUGE eyes and brilliant hair and really stylized bodies (that i think are of fairly adult-looking proportions, though i understand they're meant to be about 14 years old...oh dear). There's a very charming sort of anthropomorphised rhino thing i like in particular, he's got really cute flappy ears and a little horn on his nose. lully

no drawing done this weekend at all 'cause i've been watching stuff instead and making screencaps and me and Himself had to do actual real-life stuff. On Saturday we were doing stuff with his family (birthday dinner thing) and then yesterday we had a mission for one of our axolotls: he's getting just about too big for his tank so we had to go and get a new tank and filter and stuff, and then to Ikea to get two new units to put the huge new tank on. And then we had to rearrange the livingroom a bit for the new tank and set it up. he can't go into the new one for a couple of weeks until it's all cycled and ready for him, so now we have three aquariums running in our livingroom and the bit where i draw has been cut down from [_____] to [_] waaaaah
